Our Clients
Stone Mountain Enterprises is a full-service consulting firm specializing in public affairs, public policy and political communications. We handle a variety of clients, with experience in everything from start-ups to established government departments. Identifying strengths and weaknesses of any organization is the first step in reviewing potential, new clients. We then formulate a plan and implement a collaborative process to highlight the strengths while fortifying the weaknesses. Identifying with each client's needs is how we formulate our strategy.

Los Angeles County Department of Military and Veterans Affairs
The Los Angeles County Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (MVA) is pivotal as the County Veteran Service Officer, overseeing the welfare of one of the largest veteran populations in the United States. MVA’s accredited Veterans’ Services division is dedicated to assisting veterans in navigating the complexities of filing claims with the Veterans Administration, ensuring they secure the benefits rightfully due to them for their service.

In a strategic move to bolster its impact and reach, Stone Mountain significantly enhanced the MVA’s communications capabilities. This transformation evolved the division into a comprehensive public affairs operation adept at managing a broad spectrum of functions, from community relations and internal communications to media relations.

Stone Mountain Enterprises also analyzes new public law and pending legislation with the goal of elevating awareness, fostering inter-agency cooperation and driving advocacy efforts. This has had the effect of expanding the client’s footprint in the community while raising their profile at both the state and federal level.

Veteran Peer Access Network
Veteran Peer Access Network (VPAN), originated under the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health prior to migrating to the Los Angeles County Department of Military & Veterans Affairs. It connects veterans and their families in need with critical resources. Through peer support specialists, it addresses urgent needs such as homelessness, unemployment, PTSD, substance abuse, and suicide prevention.

When Stone Mountain began working with VPAN, it was a pilot program with little communication infrastructure. Stone Mountain built a tailored strategy from the ground up, defining needs and implementing systems to support them.
VPAN quickly evolved into a fully developed program, with an active social presence, newsletters, success story archives, media training, and community outreach initiatives. Regular site visits across L.A. County have ensured consistent support, helping transform VPAN into a reliable, far-reaching network for veterans in need.

Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health Veteran & Military Family Services
Veterans & Military Family Services (VMFS) connects County departments, non-profits, the VA and L.A. City programs.

In addition to emotional support and mental health services, LACDMH VMFS and their partners play a critical role in connecting veterans and their families with services and support. Los Angeles County is home to the highest concentration of military veterans in the country.
VMFS is here to serve veterans as well as active duty, Reserve and National Guard military family members (MilFam). Serving those who served is the best way to honor their service. VMFS is committed to connecting them to mental health services, as well as housing assistance and other critical support.

Staffed by veterans and their families for other veterans and their families, VMFS helps them navigate often complicated systems so that they receive the services they deserve. The network embodies the #YouMatter ideal—that veterans deserve hope, well-being and a greater quality of life as valued members of the L.A. County community.
